i have started a new personal project
the idea is to document interesting, valuable or inspiring instruments creatively and hopefully sympathetically to the particular guitar
the other side of this project is to expand my knowledge of off camera flash and studio lighting techniques, this is going to be fun!
starting out I decided to pull a faded SG off the wall since it is one of the best selling electric guitars of all time
the first thing i found out was i only could trigger one light (sb-600) with my current gear and it couldn’t be more than about 2 feet away.
note to self: replace adaptors when they break
the image above was my favourite from the shoot fairly straight forward strobe bounce off ceiling at 1/16th power
