Jhonny Roadhouse Music- Manchester
I had just enough time to head over to Jhonny Roadhouse Music before heading home and I am really glad I did.
Jhonny Roadhouse is owned and run by the same family that started over fifty years ago by Jhonny “The Sax” Roadhouse which makes it a great place to go for advice as well as some new gear. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a shop that has been around as long as Jhonny’s. You never know what amazing instrument you will find in a dusty corner!
They have a great selection of guitars mostly staying away from the main guys like Fender and Gibson but where JRM really shines is upstairs in the oldest section of the shop. This floor is packed with folk instruments and the best selection of brass and woodwind in Manchester! (I didn’t have a chance to take any photos upstairs unfortunately)
