Chase Music - Manchester
It is no secret that I love to visit guitar shops; especially the wonderful little independent ones. There is something about the atmosphere of a rough, cramped shop like this that makes them so appealing to me. It must be the collector mentality like a DJ looking for rare vinyl every week in the same bins. (which they are not short of in Manchester either) You just never know what amazing guitar they will have up on the wall.
Chase Music on Oldham Street is no different; they pride themselves on having the best deals in town. (which is no mean feat being a five minute walk from Dawson’s)
What they do is buy in bulk and pass the savings onto the customers; the result is a shop packed with affordable instruments and you have just enough room to walk up and down the shops length.
I have decided to visit as many independent guitar shops as I can and take some photos along the way as a journal of sorts. Watch this space for updates.
